In Jabalpur fire broke out beside Mahakali Temple, watch full video here
Jabalpur: On Friday night around 11:30 PM, a large fire broke out at United Cycle Shop which is beside Mahakali Temple at Sadar Bazar, Jabalpur. After seeing fire broke out people started panic because the cycle shop is adjacent to the Hot Chips Shop. The cycle shop and hot chips shop was completely destroy in this fire.
To extinguish the fire, nearly 30 trips waters used and after seven hours the fire finally extinguished. The fire was intense and to extinguished it, the Fire Department of Jabalpur Municipal Corporation had to seek support from Gun Carriage Factory (GCF) and Ordnance Factory Khamaria (OFK) in dousing the fire.
The fire started from a cycle shop, sports items, snacks and other allied things, it took no time for the flames to unfold into adjacent shops. Spokesman of Fire Department said, passers-by informed about the fire to Fire Department about the incident. He also said, the shop of Aman Singh Chabda caught fire at about 11:50 PM.
Soon after receiving the information about fire broke out at shop, the Fire Department had sent fire brigade one after another to regulate the devastating fire. Till firefighters reached the location fire had already engulfed huge stock of tyres and other goods.
The precise loss of property couldn’t be estimated yet, but the owner of cycle shop has informed that the loss incurred was around Rs 50 lakh
