Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given detailed instructions regarding the four-level farmer welfare program and conferences which being held in the state on 18 December. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed through video conference that the collectors should complete the entire preparation of these programs on a war-footing and send information to the farmers today itself.
The state level conference will be held in Raisen which will include the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. Other conferences will be at the district, development block and gram panchayat level. Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave detailed instructions to the collectors regarding making the Kisan Sammelan a success. In the Kisan Sammelan, the relief amount for the loss of crops in Kharif 2020 will be transferred to the accounts of the farmers. About 35 lakh 50 thousand farmers are going to be benefited from this.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will participate in the state level main program in Raisen in which about 20 thousand farmers will be involved.
In other districts, the minister will distribute relief amount to the farmers in these programs. Similar programs will also be held at the block and rural level.
The Chief Minister gave instructions to complete all the preparations for the four-level Kisan Sammelan.
The Madhya Pradesh CM give following directions-
Apart from distributing relief amount to the farmers, benefits should also be provided to cattle rearers, fishermen etc.
The work of distribution of Kisan Credit Card should also be done.
Finalize the preparations for the program, especially the Agriculture, Rural Department, Revenue Department.
Other departments should also cooperate.
CM said try to add maximum farmers to the program.
Take social distancing and caution.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed that social distancing must be followed. All farmers must use masks. Programs should be conducted with necessary precautions.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address
After the Chief Minister’s address, Prime Minister Modi will address the farmers through a video conference. After the address of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, Prime Minister Shri Modi will address at around 2 pm. Farmers are going to be informed thoroughly about these beneficial provisions of latest agricultural laws in these conferences.
